My journey as a youth development professional began with a simple but profound encounter during my college years. While volunteering at a local community center during my senior, I had the privilege of working with a group of teenagers facing various challenges in their lives. Through listening, mentoring, and offering support, I witnessed the transformative power of connection and guidance. This experience ignited a passion within me to dedicate my career to empowering young individuals to overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential. Guided by this newfound purpose, I pursued opportunities to gain experience in the non-profit sector and mental health services, honing my skills and deepening my understanding of youth development along the way. Today, I am grateful for the opportunity to continue this meaningful work, helping young people navigate the challenges of adolescence and embark on the journey of self-discovery and growth.
